Sri Ram Gram Vikas Smiti, Nagauri, UP Principal Sponsors: SHEELA & JAIPAL RATHI  A non-profit charitable organization committed to the development of a cluster of 14 villages around Nagauri in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh about 60 kilometers north of New Delhi. Flagship Projects: Sri Ram Vidya Mandir:  This school has twenty classrooms, with a library and laboratories, and accommodates 550 students from 14 nearby villages.  New accommodations for Acharyas were completed in 2003.  Annual expenses for the school amount to about 600,000 Rupees, of which about 100,000 Rupees come from tuition.  The rest (500,000 Rupees) comes from charitable contributions. Hospital:  The proposed 30-bed hospital aims to provide a maternity ward, a general ward, an eye department, a pediatric ward, an operation theatre, and diagnostic facilities, including X-ray machines & a pathology lab.  The construction of the hospital has been put on hold until the main infrastructure of the school is complete.
